Pipe Major Lars Graham Foldager Larsen.

Formed his own Pipe Band Dungillie Pipe Band, in  1979 together with his Father Jens G. Foldager Larsen.

Lars has since it's start been the Pipe Major and is therefore the longest reigning Pipe Major In Scandinavia with the samme Band.

His first tuition was by Former Scots Guard Pipe Major Robert Kilgour, who ever since has been his greatest source of inpiration. He has also had tuition from P/M John MacKenzie, Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders.

Of more modern sources of inspiration, Lars mentions FMM Pipe Band. Former Dungillie Pipe Band member P/M David Lundgren who has also influenced the way Lars tries to make the Band work.

Best Solo result is a 3^rd at Balloch Highland Games in 1999, Judge was here William MacDonald of Benbecula. Lars is often placed amongst the best in the advanced competitions in Scandinavia.

Whilst being Pipe Major in Dungillie Pipe Band, Lars was a playing member of Holbæk Pipe Band, when it was upgraded to gr. 3A. Lars is also a sought after instructor at Band weekends by several Danish Bands.

Besides being a Teacher in his proffesional Life and being Pipe Major of  Dungillie Pipe Band, Lars uses his sparetime being an consultant in buying Instruments and acessories for Pipe Bands in Denmark, he is the Scandinavian agent of Australian Ross products and MacCallum Bagpipes.
